Edwin Arroyo is an educational leader committed to transforming the school system in Puerto Rico. As President of the School Board of Arecibo Bilingual Academy (ABA), he brings a strategic vision focused on academic excellence, institutional innovation, and organizational sustainability.


Her leadership has been key in consolidating ABA as an educational initiative with its own identity, focused on developing students prepared for the challenges of the present and the future. From her role in school governance, she has fostered a culture of transparency, compliance, and decision-making aligned with the institutional mission.


Edwin Arroyo firmly believes in an educational model that addresses the student holistically, strengthening their physical, mental, and emotional dimensions. His commitment to ABA is reflected in his support for innovative initiatives such as STEAAM, ADP, and SBIT, programs that integrate academics, leadership, well-being, sports, entrepreneurship, and innovation.


As President of the Board, he promotes a vision of public schools of excellence, with high standards, family involvement, strategic partnerships, and a strong, inclusive, and results-oriented school culture. His leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, ethics, community outreach, and the conviction that education transforms lives.

  • Academic Leadership Coordinators, coaches and instructional leaders committed to educational quality and teacher support.
  • Professional Bilingual Teachers in Math, Science, English, Spanish, and content areas that promote rigorous and meaningful learning. Elementary and Intermediate levels.
  • Special Education Staff specialized in intervention, inclusion and support for the diversity of our students.
  • Counseling and Socio-Emotional Support Leaders in well-being, guidance and emotional development that strengthen the school culture.
